A Nigerian Developer Won $10k Prize on a Startup Innovation Competition

Nigerian developer beats 750 people from 73 different countries to wins $10k prize money
A Nigerian developer Abdulhakim Bashir became the winner of another international startup competition which involve 750 participants from 73 countries around the world.

He won in the Artificial Intelligence category of the Startup Innovation competition which was put together by the Dubai’s World Trade Centre, Daily Trust reports.

He developed a device that can alert shop owners of shoplifting.
It should be noted that the competition was borne out of the need to stir up innovativeness out of young owners of startups.
